Euroguidance supports the competence development of guidance professionals, with particular attention for policy and practice in guidance throughout Europe.
The Euroguidance network is a Europe-wide network of regional and national centers for lifelong guidance, and has been active since 1992. It primarily aims at guidance professionals and policy makers in Europe, but also initiaties and participates in activities and services for other target groups such as students and adults in (un)employment. Euroguidance is linked to a wide network and is regularly involved in collaborations with external partners (o.a. CEDEFOP, IAEVG, ETF, …).
All Euroguidance centers support the competence development of professionals in lifelong guidance in the education and/or employment context. They share 3 main goals:
Euroguidance Vlaanderen was one of the first Euroguidance centers. Alongside our professional development initiatives, we offer support and advice to members of the public who are interested in studying, learning and working abroad.
Euroguidance Vlaanderen is kindly supported by the Flemish Ministry for Education and Training, the European Commission (through the ERASMUS+ programme), Epos vzw and the Euroguidance Netwerk.
We collaborate with partners, such as Onderwijskiezer, the networks of pupil guidance centers, the Leerwinkels (‘Learning shops’), colleges and universities (guidance and career centers, guidance courses and programmes), VDAB (the Flemish Employment Service), JINT vzw (‘Agency for International Youthwork’) (Go Strange), VLUHR International, Epale, Europass Vlaanderen, en eTwinning Vlaanderen.
